A step towards the sons
Our aim is to help our sons become physically, mentally, financially, socially competent, strong and capable by promoting education, health, employment, self-employment, human values and reducing social evils like drug addiction, superstition, corruption, child marriage and funeral feasts and to make them aware of their duties and rights.
The foundation
The foundation of Save Son Campaign was laid in January 2024 by Mr. Veeramdev Budiya from the remote desert-affected Barmer district.
Initial publicity
Initially, it was promoted through social media, print media and WhatsApp broadcasting.
Workshop Organization
Thereafter, by doing teamwork for several months, we went to every village and hamlet and awakened the society.
Committees Formation
Then we identified volunteers interested in this campaign and social service and gave them responsibilities.

The future of the youth is in danger due to age-old social evils.
Child Marriage
Due to the social evil called child marriage, even today many youths are committing suicide due to debt, duties and responsibilities. Families are breaking up. Cracks are appearing in relationships. Future generations are becoming victims of poverty and malnutrition.
Death Feast
The funeral feast was once a reason for social cooperation, but today it has essentially emerged as a social evil. This very feast has been seen to play an important role in illiteracy, debt, drug addiction and child marriage as well as suicide.
Dowry System & Jewellery
The dowry given to a daughter at the time of her marriage and the gold jewellery given to the daughter-in-law at the time of her son’s marriage pushes two families into poverty. This irrational tradition of society is a danger for the youth.
Veil Tradition
The tradition of wearing veil is becoming an obstacle to the character and future of daughters. This is a very bad tradition which is violating the freedom of thought and expression. This is the only main reason for rift in family and relationships.
Superstition
Due to lack of quality education and awareness, even in the 21st century, the age of computers and science, people are falling prey to superstitions and are ruining themselves by getting trapped in the trap of sorcerers and hypocrites.
Casteism & Discrimination
The poison of present casteism has increased so much that humanity is being put in the dock while discrimination based on economic weakness, physical illness and caste is a threat to the dominant nation and humanity.
Promotion at school
We took the opportunity to organize programs with students, teachers and parents studying in village schools, which sounded the trumpet of a revolution in the society. After our beginning, we are seeing that educated youth and sensible people in every village are coming forward and openly opposing social evils and drug addiction. People have started promoting education. With this small effort of ours, conservative traditions that have been going on for centuries have started to crumble. As a result, the leaders of the society and the nation have got a lot of relief.
Women and students showed interest
When we talk to women in remote villages about this campaign, they immediately join us and in fact they should definitely do so because a mother worries the most for her son, a wife for her husband, a sister for her brother and a daughter for her father all the time. At many places, when we involve children in our programs, they connect with us from the heart because they are still victims of these circumstances.
